Volunteer Information

Preschool VBS requires that at least one parent or caregiver volunteer during the week of VBS. Because our preschoolers are still so young, having a familiar adult present helps them feel safe, confident, and supported as they adjust to a new environment. This also allows our leaders to give each child the attention they need, especially if a child feels nervous, overwhelmed, or has a hard time separating from their grown-up. Having a parent or caregiver serve alongside them truly makes VBS a better experience for everyone! By registering your child for Preschool VBS, you are agreeing to volunteer for the week.

In case emergency medical treatment is needed, I give permission to the staff of the First United Methodist Church of Round Rock, or anyone acting on its behalf, to obtain necessary emergency medical treatment, by a licensed physician, hospital or clinic for my child. In providing consent, I understand that FUMC-RR does not have a medical staff on campus and that all decisions regarding the need for emergency treatment will be based upon reasonable judgment of the FUMC-RR, or its designee. I release FUMC-RR, and its staff, from any and all liability, claims, demands or causes of action related to any loss, damage or injury which may occur while my child is attending VBS.

Media Release

Unless I submit a written request to the Director of Children's Ministry by June 1, 2026, indicating otherwise, I hereby grant permission for First United Methodist Church of Round Rock to use photographs, voice recordings and video recordings (collective, the Images) of my child on the church-wide website, social media, electronic communique, displays and/or other official printed publications.

Starting off VBS fun with our youngest ages—Rainforest Falls is designed especially for preschoolers!
At Rainforest Falls, kids explore the nature of God through experiences created just for their age and developmental stage. This preschool-focused VBS is filled with awesome Bible-learning moments kids can see, hear, and touch. Through hands-on science experiments, simple team-building games, unforgettable Bible songs, and tasty treats, faith comes alive in ways little ones can truly understand. Along the way, children will discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life—building a foundation of faith that grows with them.

VBS is Monday - Friday from 9am - 12pm (On Friday, we will be done at 12:30pm. 12pm - 12:30pm will be a showcase for parents).
