Vacation Bible School (VBS) Grade Level Guidelines for the 2024/2025 School Year

At Vacation Bible School (VBS), we believe in creating a comfortable and age-appropriate environment for all participants. To ensure this, we group children based on the grade they are enrolled in for the 2024/2025 school year. Here's how it works:
Kinder-4th Grade: Children enrolled in grades Kinder through 4th for the 2024/2025 school year will be placed in groups corresponding to their current grade level. For example, a child currently in 3rd grade will join the 3rd-grade VBS group. This approach allows us to tailor activities, discussions, and learning experiences to the developmental stage of each group, enhancing the VBS experience for every child. We look forward to a fun, enriching VBS experience with your child, guided by their current academic journey!

Medical Release

In case emergency medical treatment is needed, I give permission to the staff of the First United Methodist Church of Round Rock, or anyone acting on its behalf, to obtain necessary emergency medical treatment, by a licensed physician, hospital or clinic for my child. In providing consent, I understand that FUMC-RR does not have a medical staff on campus and that all decisions regarding the need for emergency treatment will be based upon reasonable judgment of the FUMC-RR, or its designee. I release FUMC-RR, and its staff, from any and all liability, claims, demands or causes of action related to any loss, damage or injury which may occur while my child is attending VBS.

Unless I submit a written request to the Director of Children's Ministry by June 1, 2024, indicating otherwise, I hereby grant permission for First United Methodist Church of Round Rock to use photographs, voice recordings and video recordings (collective, the Images) of my child on the church-wide website, social media, electronic communique, displays and/or other official printed publications.
